• Yujin Liu

    Yujin Liu is a lead geophysical researcher at Saudi Aramco’s Beijing Research Center, where he is also the principal investigator for several key R&D projects. He holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Ph.D. in Geophysics from China University of Petroleum (East China). From 2012 to 2013, he was funded by China Scholarship Council to visit Rice University, where he was a member of The Rice Inverse Project (TRIP). His main research interests include seismic imaging, sustainable seismic, and intelligent seismic.

    As of 2023, he has published more than 60 journal articles and conference papers, holds over 10 U.S. patents, and has received awards such as 2018 E&P Special Meritorious Award for Engineering Innovation, 2019 SPE Northern Asia Pacific Regional Technical Award-Drilling Engineering, and the Saudi Aramco EXPEC ARC Creative Project Award. Additionally, he is a member of the SEG China Advisory Committee and the Oil & Gas Geophysics Committee of the Chinese Geophysical Society.
